  • Swift as a language

    Hi all,

    Has anyone here used Swift much? I'm curious what you think of Swift. As Apple's new language, I'm wondering if it's designed primarily for Apple environments (OS X and iOS) or if it can be used to develop general software for other environments too - And I'd be curious why one would choose Swift over an established language such as C++, Objective-C, Java, C#, etc.
