I might be the only one who was affected by this, but my background and foreground text colors were the same, so anything typed was invisible. Using the left or right arrow keys to change the color fixed this permanently. I don't know if every user is going to go through this, or if it was just my account.

The default config should have a working color scheme (unless you changed it).

You can redeploy the client and overwrite the theme and config files. This should fix it.

That's how I installed it in the first place. I copied everything over, then edited the config files. I wouldn't know how to change the color scheme, but constantly change the routine for mci removal from a \ to a ^ since that's
what windows uses to escape characters.
