Friday
Southern Portugal basks in a dry and sunny day, while showers linger
across the north. Spain enjoys largely clear skies, with only a few
light showers brushing its northern coasts. Across France, conditions
turn more unsettled with frequent heavy showers, some possibly
thundery. The British Isles see a mix of sunshine and showers, blustery
and more frequent in the west. The Low Countries share a similarly
showery outlook. Germany experiences a split day persistent, heavy rain
soaks the south and east, while the rest of the country enjoys drier
conditions. Denmark sees only isolated showers. Further north, southern
Norway faces heavy showers, but the north stays bright and dry.
Southern Sweden sees scattered showers, while Finland enjoys mostly
sunny skies. The Baltic States deal with heavy downpours, whereas
Belarus and Ukraine remain sunny and warm, offering some of the best
conditions across the region.
Switzerland and Austria face unsettled conditions, with heavy showers
and the chance of thunder developing through the day. Czechia may also
catch a few heavier bursts, though they willl be more scattered.
Further east, Slovakia and Hungary enjoy a drier, brighter day, while
Romania basks in sunshine and warmth. The western Balkans stay largely
fine until later, when heavy showers move in to round off the day.
Saturday
Portugal enjoys a mostly dry and sunny day, though a few showers may
brush the far north. Spain also sees plenty of sunshine, with only
isolated coastal showers in the north. Across France, scattered showers
develop, with a band of rain pushing into the west later. The British
Isles face another showery day, particularly blustery in the west. The
Low Countries, Germany, and Denmark share a scattering of light
showers. Further north, southern Norway, southern Sweden, and southern
Finland experience scattered showers, while northern areas stay dry and
mostly sunny. Poland and the Baltic States see heavier bursts of rain,
while Belarus and Ukraine continue to bask in dry, sunny, and warm
conditions.
Central Europe begins with a rather cloudy start, bringing heavy
showers to Switzerland and Austria, though lighter and less frequent
for Czechia, Slovakia, and Hungary. By afternoon, heavy and thundery
showers blossom across Romania and the Balkans.
In the Mediterranean, the Balearics remain sunny, while Sardinia and
Corsica pick up a few passing showers. Italy sees heavy and thundery
downpours later in the day, extending into northwestern Greece. Further
east, Türkiye and Cyprus hold onto warm sunshine from dawn to dusk.
