I guess you can always reply to netmail and take to a 1 to 1 chat if you so desire.. but yeps, it seems any chat about country/global politics inevitably ends up in people being unhappy or worse. I figure there are plenty of of other message networks and dedicated echomail areas about to handle that discourse/discord.

... thats another thing I need to fix @ my BBS - my custom message editor header - it shows whatever Message Conference you STARTED newscanning in (or are joined to). So as you get to the otherNets, it still shows Local... thats how I replied the 1st time thinking I was 'home'. At any rate. :P
