ArcaOS yeah, it's cool, but OS/2 is dead. I ran it for YEARS in the 90s. It's hard to run anything under it now as it's not "current" to run anything on. Not saying OS/2 was a treat back in the day either, but it was fun times then. ;)
I mainly used DOS and Windows in the 90s, but I dual-booted with OS/2 for a little bit, and I think OS/2 was a really good OS. And I thought there was some really cool stuff developed for OS/2 - One was the SIO serial driver from Ray Gwinn, which could create a virtual serial port to route the data on the internet. I looked into how to enable telnetting to my DOS-based BBS that way, and it worked, which I thought was pretty cool. I didn't have my BBS set up that way permanently though.
