It's an app designed to run natively on Virtual Reality headsets. It's sort of a "Second Life in VR". You join "worlds" where other people are already at and interact with them by: participating in a voice chat (people 'virtually' closer to you are heard louder and people standing further from you become inaudible. You kinda have to 'move' closer to people to talk to them), play a game (action games, board games, art activities), watch videos/movies... You even have karaoke nights and rave clubs to dance to the music.

Hey mary! VRChat is the one game I do not play (I don't have a VR headset and the desktop mode is underwhelming). Do you have any other games you play?

yeah it just requires a vr head set like quest 2 a phone powerful enough for it or a powerful computer. i have alot of fun there recently when i am not getting harrassed for being trans or mentally ill
