And I figure that most people, when signing up for nets, wind up doing
it during the, "My BBS is going to have everything!" stage that most people seem to get when getting started.

Almost everyone I know has a Fido node number, it's nice to have a common
netmail platform.
We could all choose to take over an echo or two on Fido and create some

Lots of zone ops are turned off by net.collectors. They want boards to
contribute to their nets, not just collect them for bragging rights on
a BBS ad.
