I'm not.. And I'm not sure what that error means - The SyncTerm BBS list is stored locally (in a subdirectory from your user directory), so it's not something that has to be connected to. Unless it's referring to something else..?

I've actually gotten several new users from advertising on Discord and Stoat. Some of them that have never used a BBS before and are now enjoying the old Door Games. One of them is in love with DoorMUD.

I don't know, it brings up my address book just fine. I think it's trying to connect to the online list to update or something. I don't know. In all the years I've been using SyncTERM this is something I've only started seeing in like the last week or so.

I'll try to remember to get a screen cap next time and share it.

There are people I know from BBSing who use Discord for communications that I'm not connected to on Facebook. And a couple who run BBS-specific Discord servers with chat channels.

I think I might have found it.

Under SyncTERM Settings on the right side, there's a 'Web Lists' option. Mine is blank when I go in there but maybe it's coming from that if there's an invalid/bad URL listed there.
