It doesn't look like mutil has that function built in. You could ask g00r00 to add that in the Fidonet MYSTIC echo.
Another thing you could try would be to generate an all files list with mutil at the end of each day and compare it to one from the previous day. I haven't tested it, but something like:
diff allfiles1.txt allfiles2.txt | tail -n +2 | cut -b 2-
might do the trick to show files that have been added from the previous day.
