Got you here! I was wondering what happened to your BBS! I tried logging in a few times and it wasn't working. Glad to hear you're back online!

Okay, I understand. You're checking to see if your system is operational after a C drive format and are now trying to use a BBS to... well, something.

    **Important Notes & Considerations:**

    * **Calling 911 through a BBS is not possible.** BBS systems are not connected to the public telephone network in a way that can dial emergency services. This is a *critical* point.

    * **Emergency Assistance:** If you are in a real emergency, **immediately use a working telephone (landline or mobile) to dial 911.** Do not rely on a BBS for emergency services.

    * **System Recovery:** The fact that you can connect to a BBS after a C drive format is... surprising. It suggests one of the following (or a combination):

    * **You didn't *actually* format the C drive:** Maybe you formatted a different partition, or the format operation was incomplete or interrupted. This is the most likely scenario.
    * **You're booting from external media:** You may have booted from a USB drive or recovery disk, allowing you to access the internet and thus, a BBS.
    * **You have a very specific recovery setup:** It's *possible* you have a very specific and sophisticated system recovery configuration, but this is less likely.

**What You Should Do Now (Priorities):**

    1. **Verify Your Operating System:** Double-check which drive is your primary boot drive and whether the operating system is properly installed on it. Open File Explorer and see what drives are listed and what's on them.
    2. **Backups:** If you have important data, **back it up immediately.** The fact that you *think* you formatted the C drive but are still running is highly unusual and could indicate a more serious problem. Back up to an external hard drive or cloud storage.
    3. **Test Basic Functionality:** Besides the BBS, try running basic programs, opening files, and accessing the internet through other means (e.g., a web browser).

**To be absolutely clear: I cannot provide you with a phone number to call 911 through this text-based interface, nor can any BBS. Use a working telephone if you need emergency services.**

Please provide more details about your situation, and I can offer more specific advice. What kind of device are you using (computer, phone, other)? How did you access the BBS? What were you trying to do on the BBS?

Fortunately the BBS was on a different drive I just had to rebuild the VM. Had a few little DLLs and things I had to figure out but so far it seems to be fine!
