I like them too. And since this is a testing echo, do these posts really ever need to stop? If people don't want to read test posts, then they could set their message scan configuration to skip this echo.

Now I'm trying to test that the cron job is working. So far it hasn't been.

I came up with another idea that I'll probably want to explore, too.

Realistically, I could probably just do my testing in the BBS Ad section, if you're finding these annoying in the test section.

Theoretically I'm also testing every single day for the subject and that the ANSIs look okay, but I don't have to do the entire year for that, I think.

Though, yeah, even when I stop posting them here, they'll wind up in the Ad/ANSI section.

As it is, I don't think anyone has gone to my BBS because of these, so the point really is in sharing something that's different every day.

And also for my own entertainment with slowly making changes to the script and related stuff.

Kinda weird that people chose my birthday to make complaints, but I guess it's just whatever sent them over the edge.

But, yeah, beyond that, literally every single day, even if it's automated, requires me to do something special for it, because I'm manually re-saving ANSIs in Mystic, and renaming files to make the subjects better.

Theoretically I'd _actually_ be testing something for at least a full year.

But if Avon says these are in any way an inappropriate usage of the testing echo, then I'll finish whatever other testing in the Ad/ANSI echo.

I know some of this is that I'm slowly testing things in _my brain_, and I just haven't been in a hurry to get it over to the other base because my brain isn't done thinking of ideas, I think.

Thanks. And I talked about it with someone else, and said something along the lines of, "there are grumpy people out there". Which is probably not a surprise. I know I've _been_ one of those grump people, from time to time.
