Testing. Next up is to try and get an automated subject line.
After that I'm planning on automating the posting, to happen shortly aft
midnight GMT.
so when do you consider this test a success and stop posting them in the test area?

I was wondering the same thing, it's almost worse than the bbs ads at
this point.
I like them too. And since this is a testing echo, do these posts
really ever need to stop? If people don't want to read test posts, then they could set their message scan configuration to skip this echo.
*shrug*. I'm not doing it for callers, and I am making an adjustment on most days.
I had thought the testing area was a safe area, because the point is to spam it with things. But I guess the meaning has changed over time?

Now I'm trying to test that the cron job is working. So far it hasn't been.
I came up with another idea that I'll probably want to explore, too.
Realistically, I could probably just do my testing in the BBS Ad section, if you're finding these annoying in the test section.
Theoretically I'm also testing every single day for the subject and that the ANSIs look okay, but I don't have to do the entire year for that, I think.
Nothing annoying about you testing in a "Test" forum. Ignore those who complain. As my Dad used to say, "They don't like what they're watching, they can change the channel."
It is a safe area, it hasnt changed and feel free to keep posting...
