According fish and other Omega-3 fatty to the Mayo Clinic, which is a highly reputable
source for medical questions, Oatmeal, oat bran, and other high fiber foods are at the
top of the list for foods that help lower cholesterol.

Other foods are, Omega-3 fatty acids.

Tuna, Salmon (wild caught dish in color, not the pale pink Salmon we usually see in the
grocery stores), Mackerel, Herring Ave Trout.

Almonds and other nuts. 10 unsalted almonds each day, to be exact. I know this to be
true because I took very good care of my mother for over ten years and her cholesterol
(that previously was out of control) stayed within an excellent range for a person her
    age.

I suggest going to a few reputable web sites like Mayo Clinic and WebMD to get more
information on the subject. Please don't take any one person's word for anything on a
side like this. Always do fact checking, especially when it involves your health.
