  • This Month's Camping Trip

    As a member of the 'Caloosa Winnies' camping group, we have found it hard to find
    campgrounds in Florida during the winter season. We are currently on a cruise and are
    having a ball!

    Our ports of call are Nassau, Turks & Caicos, and the Dominican Republic. It is always a
    joy too get together with our Winnebago group, but doing it on a cruise ship makes it even
    better.

    Good for you.. I've been on short cruises on pretty big ships a few
    times here on the Great Lakes but those are nothing like those huge
    hotels on the water, and we can't gamble!.. (Legally).. B)

    In the past, we spent 2 weeks in three different locations in Ontario so we could meet up
    with friends in each place. We saw Ottawa, Peterborough, Kingston.

    We had a great time because all we had to do was find a campground, drive our car to
    their place and have them drive us around to show us the area.

    We went to the capitol building and learned about the history both by walking through
    the building and by watching the light show on the exterior at night.

    We enjoyed seeing the various locks all throughout Peterborough, and the prisons in
    Kingston.

    Also, I can't gamble either. My wife won't let me :)
