I haven't done much on it since being chastised about inputs I was making. I never used it before and don't like "wiki"s in general. But being told that an ancestor's middle name was wrong because they didn't have middle names during that time period and wherever I obtained the information from was also wrong, I stopped. I had documents from my DNA matches that gave me access to military records, census', etc., and some of the documents are from UK where they have done all the research already, I just tied my name to them from my documents.

Like, I would love to see if Dean Norris (who grew up in the same city as my biological father) and I are related. Or, of course, Chuck Norris.

Some of the names on that list you gave are what I found out recently (we talked about it a tiny bit months ago). I go up from there and find out that my Norris line came in on a ship (but not through the normal channels). "Daniel" was only ever listed as "DT" and when I entered the name, wiki gurus has a fit.

NOTE: OH! NVM! I see at the bottom is has CONNECTION FINDER, so I'd need to know their account ID (if it was created).

I know you said you have an aversion to WikiTree, but there is a wealth of knowledge
there. After you log in, just go to any of your ancestors or descendants. At the bottom
of their page you will see a 'Matches and Merges' section.

There you will see any matches and merges for that person with links to all of the
matches. You are correct. You would need to know the ID of the person, but try doing a
search for Dean Norris. If you find the right one, his ID will be listed. You can then use
the Connection Finder to see how you are related.

I searched both for him and his wife Bridget and didn't find any results.
