Heard people talking about the new beta release. Downloaded it and i'm impressed.

I was able to connect with telnet and ssh, but when I use right arrow key it is not working as expected.

The reader I used with synchronet uses right arrow to go to the next message.

Don't know if it is encoding of the terminal or what is causing the issue.

I was impressed to find that Haiku recognized my kensington expert trackball scroll wheel. so don't have it working in my linux vm! lol

youtube keeps suggesting that I watch videos about the new release. I will need to take a look at them.

I just installed it on my main desktop. Am happy that I don't have to use fallback video drivers anymore, though of course I'd love to have hardware acceleration (I use an AMD GPU) and multi-monitor support.

I've installed Haiku B5 on an old Core 2 duo I had sitting around. I'm
very, very impressed with it... but I couldn't get input leap working,
so I end up not using it much as I don't want to swap to my other
    keyboard and mouse

Nice. Pardon my ignorance, but what is "input leap"?

I had not heard of input leap. I see it is a fork of synergy which I have used. Sad it did not work. It is nice to be able to share keyboard/mouse.

I have a keyboard that has BT/usb 2.4G ; so I can use it with two computers. and a BT mouse. Had issue with BT mouse on Pi; so now I have two mice LOL.

Need to go back and figure out the mouse issue; it can actually support 3 devices. but just using it for 1 since it freaked out. have track ball on other computer.

I have a hybrid work/home setup with a home desktop and work laptop.
When I realized my new monitor had 2 HDMI inputs, I ditched Synergy
(which I never got working quite right) and ran one HDMI to each system.

I use a Logitech MX series keyboard and mouse. Each can connect to 3
unifying receiver. I have one receiver in each system.

To switch, I hit a button on the monitor, one on the keyboard and one on
the switch. It's pretty quick once you get used to it.

The Logitech receivers are pretty trouble-free.

They make a new receiver technology (bolt?) that apparently can work
with their high-end headsets, too. Right now, I'm using a Jabra
bluetooth headset that pairs to two devices.

Great idea! Any way you keep the keyboard or mouse from doing
keystrokes or mouse movement on your main machine when working on your
    other machine?
