Needed to add the paths to the tickit.ini file manually. For some reason, when I created the file areas the ini file was not updated.
All in all, this was a pretty smooth process.

    Thanks again!

Oh I see, so is tickit.ini for Synchronet something similar to what we have in Mystic as mutil.ini?

I have a sort of template I email out to new system's sysops that have all their details on to join their system to the hub, but I only have Mystic styling for it, would be handy if I knew how Synchronet does it so I could tailor the info to suit a Synchronet system if/when they join up I guess.

    Thanks again!

Oh I see, so is tickit.ini for Synchronet something similar to what we have Mystic as mutil.ini?

I'm not familiar with Mystic configuration, but tickit.ini is used to define the file areas and the paths for the file areas to allow the incoming files to be moved to the correct location. If the path is not defined, this generates the path not found error I was receiving.

I have a sort of template I email out to new system's sysops that have all their details on to join their system to the hub, but I only have Mystic styling for it, would be handy if I knew how Synchronet does it so I could tailor the info to suit a Synchronet system if/when they join up I guess.

I don't know if you need to do anything to make your info Synchronet specific as what was prvided was enough to allow me to configure my end properly.

When I did this fresh new setup of my BBS, I had to rejoin Fidonet due to a MIA hub coordinator, and I also joined Hobbynet as well as TQWNet. So far TQWNet has been the smoothest configuration and the quickes to be completed.

I am interested in joining other FTNs, so suggestions are welcomed.

    Thanks again!

    You're very welcome.

    Have a good one!

I think perhaps there are some similarities in the files then, mutil.ini is what Mystic uses to know where to put messages from each configured network, and dealing with creating new message bases if messages come in from as yet unconfigured echo tags.

That's great to know, thanks =)

I'm glad that tqwNet has been the smoothest so far. I am sure others will be just as smooth, I do try to keep on top of things.

    Well if you haven't considered already;

fsxNet - Run by Paul/Avon - Definitely recommended in joining as very active
    - Can get to the info here; https://fsxnet.nz/

I have been keeping up to date an online document with all the current BBS networks which you can find here; https://erb.pw/y/ftnnetworks

Let me know if you need any more help.
