Thomas Tuchel's reign as England boss has been pretty plain sailing so far. Taking over from Gareth Southgate after his 8-year spell, Tuchel has a
perfect record in competitive matches, winning all 5 World Cup qualifiers with his side yet to concede a goal. The only blemish on Tuchel's record so far is a 3-1 loss to the hands of Senegal in a friendly in June.

Tuchel will be hoping to guide his side to an eighth consecutive win against Wales, a record that sees England unbeaten vs The Dragons since 1984.
However, this will be no mean feat as his side face a Craig Bellamy Wales team that look completely rejuvenated in recent times.

Since Craig Bellamy's appointment in July 2024, Wales have only lost twice across a 12-game span, with only one of those losses coming in a competitive outing. Their one competitive loss came at the hands of Belgium who they went toe-to-toe with in a 4-3 thriller.

Bellamy has given Wales fans hope, proving that there is life to this team after Gareth Bale's retirement. The Dragons will be hoping that a win against their neighbouring country to end a 41-year drought will give them the momentum to push through the qualifying stage of the 2026 World Cup.
