FULL STORY ======================================================================Porsche and Smeg have collaborated on a new range of kitchen appliances The
highlights are a fridge and coffee maker inspired by the Porsche 917 KH It
was the car that secured Porsche's first overall win at 24 Hours of Le Mans

Smeg, maker of some of the best coffee makers we've tested here at TechRadar, has teamed up with the designers at Porsche to make a set of racy appliances to bring a touch of European style to your kitchen.

The highlights of the collection are a fridge and one of Smeg's best bean-to-cup coffee machines , both in bright red, with accents inspired by
the Porsche 917 KH in its Salzburg livery. It's a tribute to the car that secured Porsche's first overall victory at the 24 Hours of Le Mans race in 1970.

The limited-edition 1950s-style fridge costs 3,499, and the matching coffee machine is 1,399.95. The coffee maker is very similar to the Smeg BCC13 that received a full five stars last year, but with a manual steam wand so you can control the way your milk is textured yourself. Only 1,970 of each appliance will be made. (Image credit: Porsche, Smeg)

If your kitchen budget won't stretch quite that far, there are two other sets of appliances one in a colour called Shade Green and another called Carrera White at a more accessible price. Each set includes a toaster, kettle, blender, and fridge, with a metallic finish, matt black accents, and Porsche branding.

The 60cm fridge is priced at 2,999, the kettle is 299.95, the blender is 399.95, and the toaster is 299.95. All are available to buy now direct from Smeg's online store .
