It's got the same A18 chip as its smaller sibling, as well as the same dual-camera system and overall design. Amazon has the budget-focused iPhone 16e at 509 in this Black Friday deal. As Apple's cheapest current-generation handset, the iPhone 16e brings the essential iPhone experience down in price while retaining great features like the 48MP Fusion Camera and Action Button. The iPhone 16e caused some debate over its price at launch, but this discount price is much more in line with comparable handsets like the Google Pixel 9a and Samsung Galaxy A56 . The

alone big discounts. Still, Laptops Direct has a deal on last year's best iPhone, bringing the price of this premium handset down to 1,099. Sure,
that's still expensive, but it beats the price of the new iPhone 17 Pro Max

At this discounted price, this 6.7-inch phone with 128GB of storage is a clear winner against several Android rivals, and stands up well against the iPhone 16e. The Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge is the thin and light flagship phone for Android fans. It's got a 6.7-inch display, the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, and, in this case, 256GB of fast storage. The best Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra deal available right now is AO's 959 sale price on the 512GB model. That's even cheaper than Amazon's sale price on the 256GB model, so there's really no debate over which retailer you should choose. For 959, you'll get the customary mix of high-end power and excellent camera performance, as well as some of the best smartphone AI on the market right now. Vodafone is offering exceptional discounts of up to 552 across the iPhone 17 range when you trade-in an old phone alongside a new contract, but you can also save up to 468 on Apple's budget-friendly iPhone 16e with selected

There aren't any SIM-only iPhone 17 discounts out there right now, but O2 is offering a neat 360 saving on its Unlimited, Unlimited Plus, and Unlimited Ultimate Airtime Plans this Black Friday (you'll save 10 per month over 36 months). You can find similar deals at other networks (see Sky's data deal above), but O2 offers a nice mix of benefits like data rollover, free

If you're a Tesco Clubcard member (it's free to sign up), you can save up to 216 on 36-month iPhone Air plans at Tesco Mobile right now. 25GB of data for 43.99 per month (including the device itself) is not a deal to be sniffed at, and you'll find a similar promotion being offered on the iPhone 17 Pro

you choose?

If you're shopping for the latest iPhones, Apple now offers 256GB of storage as standard with all iPhone 17 models, but for previous-generation iPhones or devices from other brands, I recommend choosing 256GB of storage over 128GB .

Why? Because apps and photos are now larger than ever before, and they're
only set to get bigger. Specifically, as phone cameras have become more advanced, photos captured with them have gotten larger in size, and apps,
too, have ballooned in size thanks to new features, higher-quality graphics, and more regular updates.

If you're not someone who plans to take loads of photos and download loads of storage-hungry apps, then 128GB of storage may be an acceptable capacity for you. But for 90% of users, I'd advise playing it safe with a 256GB model.
