Considering the specs on offer here, I'm inclined to say that $430/499 is a genuinely incredible price for this laptop. I'm fairly experienced with HP devices (my daily driver is a trusty old HP Spectre x360 from 2019, still going strong!), and historically my main criticism of them has been the
price. Indeed, I'd say that $850 was a bit steep for the original asking
price of the Omnibook X Flip, but a $420 price drop makes it significantly more appealing.
