I won't lie to you, the Garmin Forerunner 165 isn't as stuffed with features as some more expensive running watches. But that's what makes it one of the best Garmin watches for new runners: you're no longer paying through the nose for features you can't use.

The training plan on your watch will automatically adjust depending on your performance for example, if you're doing better than expected, it'll recommend longer distances or faster runs.
