Subscribe to our newsletter The OnePlus 15T has been teased ahead of its full launch It's set to pack a 7,500mAh 'Glacier' battery that uses silicon carbon tech I loved the 15R's battery, and this is even bigger When I'm reviewing a phone I look at all of its specs equally, but for my own device I always look for one with a giant battery. I get charge anxiety and I hate phones that run out of power quickly
so the next OnePlus phone sounds like it'll be right up my street.

The OnePlus 15T is an upcoming affordable spin on the OnePlus 15 , which we gave a perfect five-star review, and ahead of launch the company has been confirming loads of its specs. It looks set to be a little more premium than the 15's other spin, the 15R, based on those stats. Thanks to a Weibo post from OnePlus president Li Jie Louis, we now know the OnePlus 15T will have 100W wired charging, 50W wireless charging, slim bezels, an IP69K rating, a periscope zoom camera and, most importantly to me, a 7,500mAh 'Glacier' battery. That's over twice the capacity of the iPhone 17 , if you were wondering. You may like The OnePlus 15R has landed with an even bigger
battery than the OnePlus 15 The OnePlus Turbo has been teased and it might include an astonishingly big battery OnePlus 15Ts thin bezels are a boring upgrade, so wait for the OnePlus 16

What we don't know yet is exactly when the OnePlus 15T will launch. But
thanks to my past experience with the brand I know it'll land square on my wish-list whenever it shows up. Analysis: Why I'm keen for the '15 (Image credit: OnePlus) I spent about two months testing the OnePlus 15R, and only moved over to another phone because the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra launched and I needed to test it.

The phone had a 7,400mAh battery, so the 15T's will be even bigger, and the power pack was perhaps the biggest selling-point of this Android.

During the testing process, when I was using the phone an above-average amount, it easily lasted a day, even if I was testing its gaming prowess or taking loads of photos. Get daily insight, inspiration and deals in your

And after the review time, when I was just using it as my normal phone, it reliably lasted two days on a single charge. I don't think I've had that happen on another phone, since before battery-chomping 5G was a thing.

In fact, I got out of the habit of daily, or even regular, phone charging sessions. The OnePlus 15R powers at 80W, so I'd just plug it in for a few minutes every few days when I remembered to keep it working.

This turned out horribly when I began testing the Ultra, which doesn't last very long, because I'd gotten used to multi-day battery life. I'd lost the habit of regularly plugging in my phone, and had a few sub-10% scares before
I re-learnt that I can't just plug in my phone once every few days and hope for the best.

I've had to re-learn how to use my phone for the Galaxy, so I'm very much looking forward to re-forgetting it when the OnePlus 15T releases likely very soon.
