The series premiere racked up eight million global views for its premiere episode in its first 10 days on Paramount+, making it Sheridans most-watched debut ever that's impressive considering that Landman , Yellowstone season 5 part 2 and Marshals: A Yellowstone Story have all dominated the streamer over the last 18 months. It goes without saying that this is a huge win for fans of the standalone Western series. But what does the news mean for season 2's possible release date? rather than later, and I'd put money on Paramount announcing a late-2026 release date in the not-too-distant future.

The Madison season 3 could then be scheduled for a 2027 release. Production on that series is yet to begin, and details are so far sparse, but we should know more once the ball starts rolling on season 2.
