    If that all sounds a little dry, what it effectively means is that the platforms can now, according to Avid, "analyze and understand media context automatically, allowing production teams to query content using natural language." What can the professional editing community expect from this partnership that fundamentally changes how they sit down and work on a Monday morning? Editors will still open Media Composer as they always have. What changes is how quickly they can get to useful material, start making creative decisions and keep in the editorial flow longer without needing to leave the timeline.

    With Avid Content Core, search becomes far more powerful and less manual. Media is analysed and understood automatically, allowing editors to find content using natural language rather than relying on clip names or handentered metadata. This turns media from static files into something more dynamic assets and data that can be explored, queried, and reused much more easily.

    Search is only one part of the picture. Our integration with Gemini extends this intelligence further into the edit itself.
