It's surreal to think that there are only 12 days left of April 2026. Really, though, how are we almost a third of the way through the year already?

If, like me, that's given you a small but not insignificant existential crisis, you might want to distract yourself with something to watch on
Netflix . And, with a wide variety of new movies and TV shows set to land on the streaming giant in the final full week of April 2026, you'll soon be able to do just that. Of this month's remaining new releases, four have particularly caught my eye. So, read on to see which projects I'll be
catching on the best streaming service over the next seven days to see if one or more of them would suit your tastes, too. he scours the United States for the next star of the stand-up circuit.

Aided by a host of other household names, including Keegan-Michael Key, Nikki Glaser, and Tom Segura, Hart and his fellow judges determine which
contestants will progress to the next stage of the contest, and offer a behind-the-scenes glimpse of their own journeys to the top of the industry.

The first four episodes will drop on Netflix on April 20, with four more arriving one week later. Then, on May 4 and 5, Netflix will broadcast the semi-finals and final live, with viewers expected to get a chance to vote on who'll win the reality TV spectacle via Netflix's recently introduced live vote feature . Fronted by Galifianakis, the docuseries follows the comedy actor as he approaches the art of having a green thumb with, according to Netflix, "curiosity and self-effacing humor."

This is a Gardening Show isn't a parody like Between Two Ferns , nor does it sound as abrasive or over-the-top as Clarkson's Farm . As a fan of Galifianakis' work and the son of parents who love to garden, though, I'm willing to give this one a shot. Who knows, maybe I'll learn a thing or two about, you know, how to not kill every plant I own. Set between its parent show's second and third seasons, Stranger Things:
Tales From 85 reunites us with Eleven, Mike, and co. as they investigate a
new supernatural sci-fi threat to their hometown of Hawkins. Joining the
party is newcomer Nikki Baxter, who's been described as the series' POV character for those who haven't watched a single minute of the hugely popular main program.

I'll be covering Tales From 85 in more detail in the lead-up to its release, so keep your eyes trained on TechRadar for more in the days ahead. In the meantime, find out what the showrunner had to say about why the main show's cast didn't return to voice their characters in Tales From 85 . Watch

up or, rather, square off in this survival action-thriller movie that'll make you think twice about a) heading into the Australian wilderness alone
and b) ever meeting new people.

Apex sees Theron play Sasha, a rock climber who takes a solo trip Down Under to escape a recent and devastating loss. However, she soon finds herself
being hunted by Egerton's enigmatic and emotionally intense character. Cue a suspenseful game of cat and mouse as Sasha attempts to outwit her predatory foe.

Compared to previous years, Netflix has significantly reduced its movie
output in 2026, which gives me hope that it's finally starting to favor quality over quantity. Even if this film ends up being another addition to
the streamer's mid-tier movie line-up, Theron always delivers a compelling performance and, with Egerton looking like he'll chew the scenery every time he appears, Apex should be a mildly engrossing flick at the very least.
