iPhone Ultra could be quite popular The upcoming iPhone Ultra could be a big gamble for Apple its set to be the companys first foldable phone, which is a type of device that remains niche, despite Samsung s best efforts.

The form factor wont appeal to everyone, and the price probably wont appeal
to anyone, so will many people actually buy it? Well, we ran a poll asking exactly that question a few weeks ago, and now the results are in.

In total, there were 1,612 votes across WhatsApp and Kwizly, with 357 people saying they would upgrade to the iPhone Ultra, 1,036 saying they wouldnt, and 219 being undecided. iPhone Ultra is destined to fail, but with roughly 35% of voters going for either 'yes' or 'maybe', things might not actually be that bleak for Apples upcoming phone especially when you consider that some of the voters will probably be Android users who have no intention of buying any kind of iPhone.

So, while the iPhone Ultra may not be as popular as the iPhone 18 Pro Max, these results suggest there is at least some hope for it, and that it might even do better than devices like the Plus, Air, and mini models Apple has released over the years.

That would be good news not just for Apple but for the wider foldable phone industry, as it could finally push these devices into the mainstream.

Of course, whatever polls say, a lot will ultimately come down to the price and specs, none of which have been revealed just yet.
